Member's Education Program

Guest Webinars

We host  a number of 90-minute Guest Webinars each year. Around 30 minutes is set aside for questions and discussion. When guest speakers agree, the webinars are recorded and available for up to three months in the private Members pages in this website.

Case Rounds

We host up to three 90-minute moderated Case Rounds. The experienced moderators share a selection of journal articles they have discovered. If you would like to present a case, please contact secretary@vacweb.ca

Certificates of Attendance are issued to VAC-AVC Members who attend or view MEP events upon completion of an Evaluation Survey to demonstrate continuing professional development to regulatory bodies. The MEP is a self-approved group & self learning activity (Section 1 - Live Webinars and Case Presentations & Section 2 - Recordings) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. We provide VAC-AVC Certificates to Members who are governed by another regulatory body.

Invitation to attend seminars offered by related organizations

VAC-AVC Members have been invited to access the 2022 LGDA Chan Zuckerberg Seminar Series and sign up to access the 2023 Lecture Series hosted by LGDA.
